Subject: WARRANT OBTAINED FOR VANDALIZER OF BUS STOP SHELTERS
The Graffiti Abatement Unit of the San Francisco Police Department last week obtained a $50,000 search warrant for Max Stiers, who is responsible for vandalizing bus shelters throughout San Francisco by using a caustic chemical on the glass, causing permanent damage. Stiers, 19, of San Francisco, was charged with 15 felony and two misdemeanor counts for vandalism. The warrant culminated a one-year investigation by the Graffiti Abatement Unit.
The Graffiti Abatement Unit is dedicated to helping prevent vandalism to public and private property by investigating vandalism cases, leading to the prosecution of perpetrators.
