Subject:   OFFICER JON COOK WALL OF HONOR CEREMONY MAY 12


There will be a memorial ceremony on Monday, May 12 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hall of Justice lobby, 850 Bryant Street, honoring Officer Jon Cook, whose name has been inscribed on the memorial Wall of Honor in the Hall of Justice. The wall displays the names of all San Francisco police officers killed in the line of duty. Officer Cook’s is the 95th name to be inscribed.

Officer Cook, who was 39 years old, died on June 12, 2002 in a collision involving two police vehicles while responding to a call for assistance from another officer.
