The Mayor's office has authorized that a $100,000.00 reward ($50,000.00 each) be offered for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person (s) responsible for the murder of Curtis Layne and Brian Williams which occurred on New Years Eve night, 12/31/2000 at 3rd. and Kirkwood in San Francisco's Bayview district.

This incident occurred in front of the home of Brian Williams' grandmother. Curtis Layne and Brian Williams were both young men who lived in the neighborhood. Brian had recently suffered the loss of his baby son's mother. Brian's death left his son without a mother or father.

It is believed that witnesses saw what occurred on the evening of the homicide and we are urging any witnesses to come forward.
The person (s) who committed this outrageous act must be caught and brought to justice. The viciousness of this crime cannot be tolerated.
