Subject:   GUN BUY-BACK PROGRAM JUNE 28


The San Francisco Police Department, in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office Operation Ceasefire, will conduct a Gun Buy-Back Program on Saturday, June 28, between 12 noon and 4:00 P.M. at two police stations, Bayview, 201 Williams Street, and Northern, 1125 Fillmore Street.

The Gun Buy-Back Program is an effort to get guns off the street by offering $100 in cash, no questions asked, for each operable gun handed to officers. Participants must be San Francisco residents, and are encouraged to bring unloaded firearms contained in bags, boxes, gun cases, or in the trunks of their vehicle. There is a maximum of two guns handed in per participant.
