Subject:           San Francisco Police To Join In Dolores Park Commemorative Bulb Planting December 6

In remembrance of those who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks, members of the San Francisco Police Department will join participants from the San Francisco Neighborhood Parks Council and the Department of Recreation and Park in the planting of thousands of daffodil bulbs on Saturday, December 6, in Dolores Park on the Church Street side of the park between 19th and Hancock streets, from 9:00 A.M. to 12 noon.

This memorial planting is in support of the Parks Council, Recreation and Park’s counterpart in New York, which has invited thousands of New Yorkers to join in planting one million tulips and daffodils in New York parks as a living memorial to the World Trade Center victims.
