PRESS RELEASE

December 19, 2003
03-130

Subject:           Gough And Filbert Homicide Correction

The suspect composite drawing released to the media earlier today in the homicide that occurred shortly after midnight this morning at Gough and Filbert streets may not be that of the suspect in the murder.  The sketch is that of a person seen in the area, and who is a potential witness wanted for questioning for the murder.

The homicide suspect is described as a black male, 20-early 30s, 5’ 8” to 5’ 11”, lanky in build, with hair brushed upwards to about four inches on top of his head and outwards to about two inches on the sides.  He was wearing a blue waist-length jacket and dark pants.

Persons who may have seen or heard anything at the time of the homicide are urged to call the Homicide Anonymous Tip Line, 553-9755.
