Subject:     San Francisco Police Seek Witnesses In Indecent Exposure Incident

The San Francisco Police Department is looking for persons who may have witnessed an indecent exposure incident that occurred on Friday, April 30, on the 1700 block of 38th Avenue at about 6:00 P.M.  In that incident, a white male about 30 years old and 5’ 9” tall, accosted an 11-year-old girl as she was walking home on the west side of the 1700 block of 38th Avenue.  Between 1747 and 1751 38th Avenue, the suspect jumped out from bushes that separate the two properties, grabbed the girl and pushed her into the bushes, where he exposed himself.  The girl managed to escape and the man got into a blue vehicle parked in a driveway on the block and was last seen driving southbound on 38th Avenue.

Any one who may have seen this incident occurring is urged to contact the police department by calling the Juvenile Division, 558-5500, between 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, or 553-1071 at all other times.
