Subject: San Francisco Police Officers Search For Shooting Suspect
San Francisco Police are asking the public’s assistance in locating an outstanding suspect in a domestic violence incident, which occurred yesterday, Wednesday, May 18, at approximately In this incident, the suspect, Robert Brantley, got into an argument with the victim, his girlfriend. Brantley got upset, pulled out a handgun, and fired two rounds at the victim, striking her once in the neck. Brantley then got into the victim’s daughter’s car and drove her to SFGH, dropped her off and drove away. The victim has been treated and released from the hospital.
Brantley is still outstanding and is considered armed and dangerous. The victim also believes Brantley may be suicidal and may confront police in a violent manner. The suspect is a black male, 5’8”, 190 lbs., gray hair, brown eyes, medium-build and has a mustache/goatee. He was driving a 1997 four-door green Toyota Avalon with California license plate 3VUA100. He is also known to frequent the area of the 200 block of Holloway Avenue in San Francisco.
If someone sees Brantley, call 911 immediately and do not confront him. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brantley is asked to call the SFPD Confidential Tip Line at 415-575-4444. Inspector Lum of the Domestic Violence Response Unit at 415-553-9225 is investigating the incident.
