Subject: San Francisco Police Arrest Domestic Violence Murder Suspect
San Francisco Police have arrested the suspect in an ultimately fatal domestic violence incident that occurred on Friday, November 4 in an apartment building on the 100 block of Hyde Street at about 2:40 P.M. In this incident, the suspect allegedly threw a 51-year-old woman from a sixth-floor window. When police responded they found the victim had fallen to a first-floor balcony and that the suspect had fled the scene. The victim died the following night, Saturday, from her injuries.
Based on investigative leads and coordinated work between Homicide and Domestic Violence Unit inspectors, as well as officers from Mission Station, the suspect was apprehended at a fast-food restaurant yesterday, Sunday, at 16th and Mission streets at about 1:00 P.M. Taken into custody was Frank Green, 51, of San Francisco. Green has been charged with homicide and remains in custody.
