Subject:     Police Seek Witnesses In Tenderloin Shooting


San Francisco Police are seeking witnesses to a shooting that occurred at Ellis and Leavenworth streets on Friday, January 6, 2005 at about 3:00 A.M.  In this incident, police responded to a call of shots fired and found the body of a woman suffering from gunshot wounds lying on the street.  Witnesses have told police that they saw two African-American males with the victim just prior to the shooting.  The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
