San Francisco Police Seek Suspect In Brutal Stabbing Attack


San Francisco Police are seeking the public's help in locating the suspect in a brutal stabbing attack that occurred last Sunday, December 10, in front of 1335 Washington Street, at about 8:00 P.M. In that incident, the suspect attacked a 36-year-old San Francisco resident, stabbing him repeatedly, after an apparent verbal altercation. The suspect then left the scene. The victim remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Police have been able to identify the suspect as Vitaliy Nikolayevich Spichak, a white male, 21 years old, 6', 150 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. A photograph of Spichak is available on the SFPD's Web site, sfgov.org/police.
