Traffic Advisory For Officer Bryan Tuvera Funeral


Following the funeral of Officer Bryan Tuvera tomorrow, Friday, December 29, at Saint Mary's Cathedral, there will be significant impact on traffic flow as the funeral procession leaves the cathedral for Woodlawn Cemetery in Colma. Streets affected, starting at about 11:40 A.M., will be Gough to Fell Street, Fell to Lincoln Blvd., and Lincoln to Sunset Blvd. The 19th Avenue corridor will be particularly affected. The area around Lake Merced Blvd. and Brotherhood Way will also be impacted as the cort├Ęge continues to the southbound Highway 280 on-ramp.

At the funeral, which begins at 10:00 A.M., there will be parking reserved for the media on the west side of Gough Street between Geary Blvd. and Ellis Street starting at about 6:00 A.M. The media will be allowed inside the cathedral at a designated area during the service.
