Yesterday, January 18, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office arrested the suspect in the May 7, 2004 shooting death of Raymon Bass on the 400 block of Haight Street. Bass, 17, attended Mission High School and had received a scholarship to play football at Humboldt State University.

This past Tuesday, January 16, a San Francisco Criminal Grand Jury indicted Florentino Tobie for Bass's murder. Tobie, a San Francisco resident, was 16 years old at the time of the homicide.
