Arrest Made In Aggravated Assault / Robbery

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on October 25, 2007, San Francisco Police Officers working in the Tenderloin District responded to a call of shots fired on the 400 Block of Ellis Street. One of the witnesses saw four black males walk up to the victim, surround him, and go through his pockets. A few moments later, the witness heard two to three gunshots.

The suspects all fled east on Ellis and the victim walked west on Ellis. A desk clerk at a nearby hotel heard him state, Help me. I've been shot!

The clerk called 9-1-1. Police responded into the area. A second witness heard the gunshots and looked out of a window and saw four black males, one of which was holding a gun, wearing a black shirt with a white skeleton on it.

Communications broadcast the suspect description. Officers chased the suspects. Two juveniles were taken into custody about one block away. The clothing with the white skeleton was recovered along with a handgun. Two adults, inside a vehicle, were also arrested.

Charged were James Talley, black male, 20 years old, London Shaw, black male, 19 years old both of San Francisco, with robbery, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest.

Also charged were two juveniles, ages 15 and 17, with robbery, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and conspiracy.
