San Francisco Police Arrest Three Suspects In Potrero Hill Robbery

San Francisco Police arrested three suspects in a Potrero Hill robbery that occurred early this morning, May 5, at 17th and De Haro streets at about 12:15 A.M. Taken into custody were Deljuan Bankston, 21, ofOakland; Tony Carter, 20, of San Francisco; and Artes Tims, 18, of San Francisco.

In this incident, the suspects confronted the victim, a 38-year-old San Francisco man walking on the street, and ordered him at gunpoint to hand over his property. After the victim complied, the suspects fled in a green Toyota. The victim walked to a business at 16th and Potrero streets to call police. Police searched the area after the victim gave a description of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.

After approximately ten minutes, officers saw the suspect vehicle at 26th and Cesar Chavez streets and effected a traffic stop. A search of the car yielded a handgun and the victim's property. Police took the suspects into custody without incident.

The suspects have been charged with robbery and remain in custody.
