San Francisco Police Arrest Two Suspects In Fisherman's Wharf Robbery

San Francisco Police arrested two suspects in the robbery of a 7-11 store on the 2600 block of Mason Street early this morning. Taken into custody a few minutes after the robbery, which occurred at approximately 3:00 A.M., were Demetrius Dews and Ahmad Washington, both 20 years old and both of San Francisco.

The suspects, one armed with a handgun, robbed the store clerk of cash from the register before fleeing on foot. Quick response on the part of a Central Station patrol unit led to the apprehension of the suspects at Union Street and Columbus Avenue.

Dews and Washington were charged with robbery and remain in custody.
