The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $250,000.00 reward for infomation leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Marissa Harvey.

On Monday Mar, 27, 1978 at approximately 1:3 p.m., Marissa harvey, 15years old, who was visiting SF from New York, was dropped off in Golden Gate Park on 44th or 45th Avenue near the windmill to go horseback riding. Ms. harvey failed to return home that evening or contact her sister.

On Tuesday, march 28, 1978, at 1951 hours, officers responed to 48th Avenue and Anza (Sutro Park) on a report of a dead body, and discovered Marissa harvey's body, who had been murdered.
