The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Tydis James.

On August 15, 2007 at 11:05 PM, Tydis James was shot and killed in front of 1210 Newhall Street. The victim (17) died at the scene. The suspect described as a black male, 16-23 years old, wearing a black hat, black pants and a sweatshirt with gold and black print.
