REWARD OFFERED IN DOUBLE MURDER CASE

The Mayor's office has authorized that a $100,000.00 reward ($50,000.00 each) be offered for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person (s) responsible for the murder of Curtis Layne and Brian Williams which occurred on New Years Eve night, 12/31/2000 at 3rd. and Kirkwood in San Francisco's Bayview district.

Curtis Layne was an 18 year old Black Male who lived in the neighborhood with his mother.
Brian Williams was a 26 year old Black Male who had recently moved from the neighborhood
and was also living with his mother.

It is believed that witnesses saw what occurred on the evening of the homicide and we are urging any witnesses to come forward.
The person (s) who committed this outrageous act must be caught and brought to justice. The viciousness of this crime cannot be tolerated.
