SFPD Seek Public's Help in Brutal Street Assault

San Francisco police are seeking the public’s help in a brutal assault that occurred on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 2:00 A.M. in the middle of Polk Street at Elm. In this incident, two suspects (Identified in Photo) brutally beat the victim, a 23-year-old Hayward man, continuing to hit and kick him after he had fallen to the pavement and causing him to lose consciousness. The victim remains in very serious condition and may not fully recover from his injuries. The suspects fled from Elm toward Van Ness Avenue, where they got into a possible black pickup truck and fled northbound on Van Ness.

Two of the suspects are described as Asian males. Suspect 1 is believed to be approximately 5’9” and 210 lbs. Suspect 2 is believed to be approximately 5’ 6” and 135 lbs. The third person (Identified in Photo) is described as a light skin Hispanic male who is considered to be a person of interest.
