SFPD Requesting Public's Assistance in Burglary Investigation
San Francisco police investigators are seeking assistance in solving a residential burglary that took place on March 23, 2012 in the City’s Bayview Police District.
During this break in, many items were stolen including two gold medallions that bear distinctive markings. The dimensions of the medallions are 2-1/2 inches by ½ inch.
One of the medallions bears the inscription, “5 YEARS SERVICE,” with “10gr” on the reverse side. The other reads, “20 YEARS SERVICE” and has “50gr” printed on its reverse. The items stolen are similar to the one attached to this press release. They were a gift to the victim in return for his years of service in Saudi Arabia and are also of sentimental value to the victims.
Anyone with information regarding this burglary or the location of these stolen items is asked to contact the Bayview Station Investigation Team at (415) 671-2357. Persons wishing to remain anonymous may use the Bayview Station Anonymous Tip Line at: (415) 822-8147.
