SFPD Police Seek Witnesses in Serious Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident

San Francisco Police Investigators are seeking any witnesses in a vehicle collision with a pedestrian which occurred on April 5th, 2012 at 6:17pm at Mission Street and Italy Street.
In this incident the vehicle was making a left turn from west bound Italy Street onto southbound Mission Street. The vehicle made contact with a pedestrian, who had stepped out from in between two parked vehicles.
The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and remains hospitalized with life threatening injuries.
The motorist in this incident stopped and is cooperating with police.
