On May 2, 2012, at approximately 5am, San Francisco Police removed a group of individuals who had forcibly entered and occupied the property at 888 Turk St and 930 Gough St on May 1, 2012. The operation was out of concern for public safety in light of the violence on May 1st when the group took the property.

During the May 1st incident, the group had forced entry into the property and made their intentions known to remain. Members of the group were violent as they hurled bricks and metal pipes toward officers and the general public. A brick hurled by a member of the group struck a bystander in the face. These actions subsequently led to the arrest of Jesse Nesbitt who was booked on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and vandalism.

The May 2nd operation was completed successfully as the property was secured by officers and resulted in the arrest for trespassing of 26 individuals without incident. There was no report of injuries and no reported uses of force.

Of the 26 total arrests, 15 of the arrestees do not reside in San Francisco (11 from out of county and 4 from outside the State of California). 23 arrestees are male and 3 female. 6 arrestees were booked for a continuing offense due to them having been cited previously for the same violation at the same location. 1 arrestee was booked on an outstanding warrant and 1 arrestee was booked due to lack of identification. The remaining 18 arrestees were cited for trespassing and released.
