SFPD Make Arrests During Search Warrant Resulting in Seizure of Firearms

On May 3, 2012, at 10:30pm, the San Francisco Police Gang Task Force and Violence Reduction Team in colloboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant on the 700 block of Dartmouth St that resulted in 2 arrests and the seizure of 1 shotgun and 4 handguns. The San Francisco Police Tactical Unit assisted in the warrant service which was carried out without incident.

The search warrant was executed as a follow up to an investigation into a recent violent gang incident which occurred in San Francisco.

The suspects arrested were Guillermo Jimenez, 23, and Robert Nizuk, 56, both residents of San Francisco. Jimenez was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, a probation violation and being in violation of his parole. Nizuk was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Both were booked into San Francisco County Jail.

The San Francisco Police Department continues to focus on the reduction of violent crime and the identification of subjects involved in gang activity.
