San Francisco Police Robbery Inspectors are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted in connection with two separate bank robbery series in San Francisco.

On April 30, 2012 at approximately 11:30AM, a bank on the 300 block of Clay Street was robbed. The suspect in that robbery is a white male, between 40-50 years of age, approximately 5’-10” in height and weighing 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a large brimmed “sun hat” and a black hooded sweatshirt. He is believed to be responsible for several San Francisco bank robberies as well as a bank robbery at the Bon Air Shopping Center in Greenbrae on May 14, 2012 at approximately 5:50PM. The suspect typically presents a demand note; however, in one incident he brandished a handgun. A surveillance photo of the suspect accompanies this press release and is labeled as photo #1.

A second man assisted this suspect in one robbery that occurred on May 12, 2012 at 3:15PM at a bank near Chestnut and Fillmore streets. This second suspect is described as a white male, 45-50 years of age, 5’-05” in height and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jacket. He is missing three fingers from his right hand and two fingers from his left hand (suspect photo #2).

In an unrelated robbery series, Inspectors are seeking a black male in his 40’s, approximately 5’-09” in height and weighing 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black curly wig and eye glasses. On May 10, 2012 at approximately 10:00AM he robbed a bank on the unit block of Front Street. He presented a note to bank tellers demanding money. Investigators believe he is responsible for several bank robberies throughout the Financial District (suspect photo #3).
