San Francisco Police Make Arrest in Western Addition Homicide
On May 11, 2012, police responded to a call of shots fired on the 1100 block of Turk Street at Laguna shortly after 9:00 P.M. James Earl Lee, 54, of San Francisco was taken to SFGH, where he was pronounced dead. Evidence recovered at the scene and information obtained during the follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Kenneth Chappell, 33, and Curtis Cail, 20, both of San Francisco. The suspects were brought to the Hall of Justice for questioning on May 25 and later placed under arrest. Both remain in custody on homicide charges. Booking photos accompany this press release.
